The second issue of Ramen was completed the during the summer of 2011 and debuted at New Student Convocation in September. The theme was “Grey” and featured contributions from twelve students, three alumni, and two staff members from Columbia College Chicago.

A joint effort between members of Words ‘N Stuff and Common Ground, the LGBTQIA Survival Guide aims to tackle sexuality and gender issues in a zine written by ‘Fairy God-Elders’ for younger students. Submitted work includes pieces of nonfiction, poetry, satire, and op/ed. It was released in January of 2012.
